HOW DOES IT WORK?

CIRCULATION
The ability to heal and to perform is directly related to the amount of blood flow your tissue and organs receive. This is why certain parts of your body heal more quickly than others—because of differential blood flow. In addition, blood that carries oxygen is needed to fuel your cells. When you optimize blood flow and blood oxygen, you tap into the maximum self-healing potential of your body. With more blood oxygen, you can keep your muscle cells fully charged and well-fueled to give you maximum output.

COOLING
When your body temperature increases, blood vessels near the surface of the skin dilate, increasing blood flow to the skin, leaving less blood and oxygen for the muscles. When there is not enough blood to remove lactic acid from the muscles, the body hits a wall and fatigues. Remaining cool during exercise allows blood oxygen levels to remain high throughout the body which makes exercising much more efficient and pleasant. Sweating is also dramatically reduced or completely eliminated. Cooling the body during the workout mitigates further physical stress and reduces existing pain and inflammation.

COMPRESSION - Blood Flow Restriction (BFR)
Placing compression on the arm and leg muscles while exercising at a low intensity has been scientifically shown to create the physiological effect of high intensity exercise. Compression cuffs worn on the arms and legs safely compress the muscle to quickly build up lactic acid, mimicking the physiology of an intense workout that would typically take extensive time and effort. Compression builds metabolite concentration quickly and activates fast twitch muscle fibers. This triggers a systemic recovery response, including the natural release of anabolic hormones such as testosterone.
THE EFFICIENT WAY TO BALANCE YOUR NATURAL HORMONES
Hormones are your body’s systemic signaling molecules and are released in different areas of your body and move through the circulatory system to regulate your body’s function and behavior. Hormones affect the body in many different ways and have significant impacts on function, form and feel.
HORMONAL RESPONSE: GROWTH HORMONE, CORTISOL, AND TESTOSTERONE
In this Pilot Trial, Vasper investigated the hormone response from 10-20 Vasper sessions over 4-6 weeks.
Vasper had a unique ability to increase certain helpful hormones while suppressing other stress hormones. We looked at two types of hormones: anabolic hormones and catabolic hormones, which function in opposite directions to build and repair (anabolic) and breakdown (catabolic).
Growth hormone (IGF-1 saliva marker) and testosterone are anabolic hormones that contribute to muscular mass, energy, endurance, confidence, resilience, and sleep.
